Manipul built a Goods Shipment Automatic system in Pacheco, Buenos Aires Province
The installation is based on an Automatic Picking System to load trucks in the shipment lot. It is formed with two levels of collecting conveyor belts, box liners, automatic sorting, telescopic conveyor belts and roller conveyors for accumulation.
The system is complemented with a PLC that sends loading instructions on-line to the conveyor belts by means of displays located in their course. The boxes barcode is read by a scanner and their dimension is tested by a lineal camera. Then, the boxes are deviated to each load dock by the sorting system. They are loaded into the truck by the telescopic belts and the accumulation conveyors.
This system allows 8 trucks simultaneous load with a maximum capacity of 8,000 boxes.
