Manipul installed a new conveyor system for the production of the new model Focus in Pacheco factory, Province of Buenos Aires.

The scope of this conveyor system is based on the following equipments:

Body shop is composed by four 100 m long parallel two-strand conveyors. Bodies are transported trough skids over different frame sectors.

Automated transfers installed at the head line, produces sectors inputs and outputs. At the end of the process, vehicles are oriented through paint shop.

A new body pieces and parts movement system was supplied, composed by a 500 m long air conveyor that transports doors, mudguards, hoods, rear doors carrying from production sectors to delivery points in assembly line.

Finally, a new assembly line was installed, based on 100 m long double flap top conveyor, installed at floor level (civil work included) that contemplates loading lubricants service.

The whole conveyor speed allows a production of one assembly unit every 1’ 40’’.
